<br />On September 25, 2000, a letter was sent to the City Manager, of the City of Sebastian, with a copy of a draft
<br />agenda item and a map of the project area (Exhibit 6).
<br />RECOMMENDATION
<br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the
<br />attached Resolutions III.

<br />Utilities Director Don Hubbs commented that Phase II ofthe project had been broken
<br />into 5 segments, A through E, and supplied water to 2,186 lots through 229,000 feet of
<br />water line. All the phases of the project have been done in house, both the design and
<br />construction, using staff members. Phase III involves 3,734 lots and 40 miles of pipe. An
<br />informational meeting regarding Phase III was held on October 12' at the North County
<br />Library.
