L <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2000 --MA <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM RS - <br />3, TO PD FOR APPROXIMATELY 297 ACRES OF LAND GENERALLY <br />LOCATED BETWEEN 13" STREET SW ON THE NORTH, 11" STREET SW <br />ON THE SOUTH, 27TH AVENUE ON THE EAST, AND 43RD AVENUE ON THE <br />WEST; AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on <br />such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this <br />rezoning request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did <br />publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning is <br />consistent with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County and the county land development <br />regulations, including but not limited to the Planned Development (PD) Process and Standards for <br />Development chapter, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public hearing pursuant to this <br />rezoning request, at which parties in interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, that the Zoning of the property situated in Indian River County, and legally <br />described in EXHIBIT A (attached) be changed from RS -3 to PD, residential and that the PD <br />conceptual plan (see EXHIBIT B, attached) will control and regulate development on the subject <br />land. Said zoning shall revert to RS -3 on December 31, 2001, unless a land development permit for <br />OCTOBER 24, oPoGo 3 3 <br />-62- <br />• 0 <br />
