US -98 -09 -CS <br />BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS <br />On March 21, 2000 the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners approved a contract with Tri. <br />Sure Corporation. (Contractor) for the installation for force main in the Rockridge sewerage collection area <br />At this time, Tri -Sure Corporation has completed construction of the sewer force mains. The Utility <br />Department: has relinquished payment for portions of the completed work and has received acceptance from Staff <br />along with the required record drawings. Tri -Sure Corporation is requesting final payment including the release <br />of retainage held (Exhibit -B). <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />The Staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of Coup Commissioners authorize <br />Staff to allow for the Release of Retainage for satisfactory completion of construction services in the amount of <br />$8.091.20 and authorize the Chairman to execute same, as presented. <br />LIST OF EXHIBITS: <br />Exhibit A.
