Tiff in <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of October 26, 2000: <br />To: Board of County Commissioners <br />From: Paul G. Bangel, County AttorneyTx� 1011*100 <br />Re: County Canvassing Board <br />Recommendation: <br />It is recommended that the Board of County Commissioners rescind the substitute <br />appointment of Commissioner John W. T'ippin and as his alternate, Commissioner Ruth <br />Stanbridge, to the County Canvassing Board, and revert to the ordinary operation of <br />Section 102.141(1), Florida Statutes (2000), which provides for service on the County <br />Canvassing Board bythe chairof the Board of County Commissioners, effective November <br />7, 2000. <br />Discussion: <br />On August 8, 2000, the Board of County Commissioners approved the appointment <br />of Commissioner John W. Tippin and as his alternate, Commissioner Ruth Stanbridge, to <br />substitute for Chairman Adams on the County Canvassing Board.
