Adams <br />Chairman <br />Effective with the next meeting of the Treasure Coast Sports Commission, I am appointing <br />Commissioner Kenneth R.Macht to replace Commissioner John W. Tippin to serve on this <br />committee as Indian River County's representative. <br />Commissioner Macht separated this item for discussion. He MOVED that the item <br />be deferred for one week. (MOTION DIED for lack of a second.) <br />Chairman Adams advised that this matter had been approved at a previous meeting. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Tippin, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Stanbridge, the Board again appointed <br />Commissioner Macht as the Board's representative to the <br />Treasure Coast Sports Committee. <br />Commissioner Macht advised that he would respond by not attending. <br />When Chairman Adams advised that "we shoot non -attendees", Commissioner Macht <br />advised it was "worth being shot over." <br />Commissioner Tippin quipped that Commissioner Macht needed to learn something <br />about sportsmanship. <br />November 7, 2000 <br />M11 <br />�_J <br />
