TUESDAY, D%BRUARY 5th 1935 <br />`he Board of County Commissioners <br />in and for <br />Indian f ver <br />Uounty, Ylorida.. met at <br />the (:oust House in Vero Beach, at 10:00 <br />o+cloak A. <br />M. Tuesday, <br />Yebruary 5th 1935, with <br />the following members of the Board present: J. J. r. hamiltong Chairman; Frank C. <br />'Pickers; K. N. Mudge and bdwin x. Helseth. Absent B. P. Poole* also present were. <br />Wm. W. Frick, Bheriff; Chas. A. litchell, attorney and Miles Marren, Clerk. <br />The minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved. <br />Miss Leila M. Bubkley appeared before the Board regarding Mrs Mahala Horton Uo ll - <br />nick. It was ordered that the sum of 010.00 per month be paid to Riss Bunkley, for the <br />account of Mrs. Uollniek, it appearing to the satisfaction of this Board she is a <br />pauper. <br />Ctrs. Haire Jewell messenger appeared before the Board regarding the L. J. Holland <br />family. after considerable discussion no action was taken. <br />b. N. 'Suith, attorney appeared before the Board and submitted a bill for w. H. <br />Fretwell in the sum of 010,000.00 for alleged injury while riding on a County track to <br />his work as a FERA laborer. the Board when on record as disclaiming any and all <br />liability in connection with this claim. <br />it was ordered that Mrs Eva Helen Vojtik be restored to the Mothers' Pension Fund, <br />to receive the sum of *6.00 per month until the further orders of this Board. <br />F. G. Fdetcher, €2iairman and 0. X. Mardoch, a member of the School Board appeared <br />before the Board and requesting that all funds above the amounts now in the budget to <br />come from the Race Track Fund be donated to the school Board. The matter was held in <br />abeyance pending the final receipt of the funds. <br />The Notary vublic bond of J. J. Bustin in the sum of V500.00 with the American <br />'Wrety Company, a corporation, as surety was approved. <br />the following resolution was introduced by Commissioner Nudge, who moved its <br />adoption: <br />wH XXA8, the Board of Administration has submitted certain proposals of firms and <br />corporations to sell to said Board of Administration bonds of the County of Indian hive , <br />under the 'provisions of Mouse Bill oto. 30, acts of the 1933 Legislature, and, <br />wHERRA'S, after carefully considering all of such proposals, and considering the <br />amount of funds available and in the hands of said Board of Administration, and taking <br />Into consideration the approximate value of said bonds, it is deemed advisable to pure <br />certain of said bonds and obligations, to -wit: <br />One (1) bond of Special R & B List #19 dated Jan 1, 1918 due <br />Jul 1 1936, at 47 flat, as designated offering "a" <br />Three (3) Highway bonds of St Lucie County, dated Feb 1 1920, <br />due 19389 at 55 flat as designated offering "F". <br />THWA F0R19, BE iT ABSOLUD, that the Board of Administration be requested to pu <br />the foregoing bonds in accordance with the teras of the offerings and the lave in <br />relation thereto. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Vickers, and upon being <br />put to a vote the same was unanimously adopted. <br />It was ordered that the bill of uhairm:a.n J. J. P.
