579 <br />MINUTES OF TIM DELINQUENT PERBONAL PROPERTY <br />TAX ADJViSTME T BOAS. <br />TIMWI .Y., AIIGUST 6th -193-5... <br />Ihe Board of County Uoumissioners of Indian River County, Florida, consisting of <br />the following members, to -wit: J.J.P.Aaamilton; R.E.Iftdge; R. P. Poole and Edwin A. <br />Teeth. Absent Frank C Vickers. Also present W. R. Utncnn, Tax Assessor and Kilos <br />Warren, Clerk of the Board met at the Court house at 2:30 o'clock P.M. Tuesday, <br />.August 6th 1933, for the purpose of creating and forming the Delinquent Personal <br />Property Tax Adjustment Board of Indian River County, Florida, in accordance with the <br />provisions of the Acta of -the 1935 legislature. <br />On < motion made $ seconded and carried J, J. P. Hamilton, was elected Chaiman <br />of such Board.' <br />Under the provisions of the law the Clerk was made and designated as Secretary of <br />the Delinquent Personal Property Tax Adjustment Board. <br />The said Board after having fully discussed the tau problems on personal property <br />and having fully advised among the several members of the Board, the said Board ( or <br />such part thereof, as have authority) ordered that the County pers onal --property tax <br />be adjusted on a basis of 25% of the original tax so assessed until the further order <br />of this Board. Such basis settlement granted to all persons who have personal proper <br />assessed -against them for the years 1933 and prior years, with the understanding the <br />1934 tax be paid in full at the time of settlement of the delinquent taxes.
