Lucie County, Florida and are legally issued and outstanding and are valid, enfor- <br />ceable obligations against Indian lover County, Florida, payable as to both principal <br />and interest from advalorem taxes which may be levied without limit as to rate or amount <br />upon all the towable property within the territorial limits of Indian River County; and, <br />WFWMSP Indian River County, Florida, has, for the taxable year 19359 budgeted <br />more than 95,00 ,00 of' its income from race track moneye to be paid upon the obliga- <br />tions issued to the United .states of ,zerica as a part of the loan provided by the otter <br />of the United States of America as hereinbefore described; therefore, <br />BE IT FISOLVBD, that Indian River County, Florida,, by and through its governing <br />body, namely this Board of County Commissioners, does herewith offer to the United <br />States of America the bonds hereinbefore described as security for and as representing <br />the debt to the United States of America to the loan described in the offer from the <br />.United States of America under date of august '24, 1935 and referred to as PWA Docket <br />x'40209 and does herewith request the United 'States of America to accept the said above <br />described bonds as representing the said obligations and does request the United States <br />of America, through the Federal Lmergency Administrator of Public 'forks, to supplement <br />or amend the offer hereinbefore described in order that said bonds may be so accepted <br />asrepresenting the said obligation. <br />BE IT FURTHER fOSOLVED that the adoption of this resolution shall be in no manner <br />construed to be a modification or amendment of the resolution first adopted accepting <br />the offer of the United States of America as hereinbefore mentioned, and that said first <br />resolution acceptinf said offer shall take precedence over this resolution and that <br />this resolution sjall be considered only as a request and suggestion to the United States <br />of America and shall in no manner be considered as in any way effecting the said first <br />resolution accepting said offer. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of the extracts of this meeting, <br />including the adoption of this resolution, shall be furnished to the proper represen- <br />tatives of the United States of America for their consideration. <br />The adoption of the above resolution vas seconded by Commissioner Vickers and upon <br />roll call was adopted as follows: Voting Aye: Commissioners Vickers, Po41e, Helseth, <br />Mudge and Hamilton. Voting stay: bone. The Chairman thereupon declared said resolution <br />duly adopted. <br />The Clerk was instructed to write the State Comptroller and request that he surren- <br />der to Barnett National Bank, Cocoa, Floridag such ]federal obligations as have been <br />called for redemption and place in lieu thereof an equal amount of Federal Obligations <br />of another issue. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were exam- <br />ined and found correct were approved, and warrants ordered issued in settlement of same. <br />Such bills and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk Circuit Court.
