M. Tuesday, October 1st 19359 with the <br />following members of the Board present: J. J. P. Hamilton, Chaiaman; Frank C.Vickers; <br />Ro E. Madge and Edwin A. Helseth. Absent E. P. Poole. 'Also present were aim W. <br />Attorney, <br />Frick, Sheriff, Chas. A. Mitchell, and Miles Barren, Clerk. <br />In making distribution of delinquent taxes collected during the month of September <br />1935, the Clerk was instructed and directed to place all County funds in the Road & <br />Bridge Fund, in order to meet the current expenses as far as possible. <br />Mr. Massey and Hubert Graves of wabasso appeared before the Board regarding road <br />leading to Thr. Ma.ssey's place. `rhe Board agreed to do this work as soon as possible: <br />it vas ordered that Mrs. J. it. Conniff, minter Beach, be placed on the pauper list <br />to receive the sum of X10.00 per month, same to be forwarded to her mother, Mrs. W., H. <br />walker, until the further orders of thi s Board. <br />Miss Florence Etheridge, FERA Nurse appeared before the Board and advised that <br />the mawse health nurse work will continue under Federal supervision until Jan 1, 1936. <br />it was ordered that the pauper allowance of Mrs Lillian Strickland., Vero Beach, <br />be increated from §3.00 to §6.00 per month. <br />It was ordered Mrs. Clifton Loyd, Fellsmere, be placed on the pauper list for 60 <br />days, while her husband is serving a, jail sentence for intoxication. <br />It was ordered that Mrs. Esther Braswell, Sebastian be placed on the pauper list <br />to receive the sum of *5.00 per month for a period of two months only. <br />A petition vas received requesting aid for A. D. PMtevent, Vero.Beach, and after <br />consideration it was ordered that he be placed on the pauper list to receive the sum of <br />$10.00 per month as he is incapacitated and his wife is an invalid. <br />It was ordered that w. H. Bartlett be given the sum of $3.00 for medicine, sm. e <br />to be paid out of the. pauper item of the general Revenue Fund. <br />The Clerk was instructed to write via iA. Gower and advise him that his two soils <br />must contribute and assist him .or the Board will be obliged to call this to the attention <br />
