Am* TUE SDA 1 OCTOBER 15th 1935. The Board of County Commissioners of Indian Kiger County, Florida, met at, the Cou House in Nero Beach, at 1:30 o'clock P.M. Tuesday, October X5th 1935,- With the follow- ing members of they Board presents J. J. F. Hamilton, Chairman; Frank C. Vickers and X.E. Absent ComI r s. 'Poole and He lseth. Ridge./ also present were .on W. Frick, Sheriff, Chas. a. Mitchell, attorney and Miles Warren, Clerk. John W. E. V&eeler appeared before the Board regarding the Workman's Compensation act passed by the 1935 Legislature, and advised that the premium on such insurance as required under the Act will cost from $300.00 to $350.00 per annum. After some discussw ion it was ordered that this matter be held in abeyance until the full membership of Board is present, W. R. To Troy E. lbody, Tax Collector of the County of Indian River You are hereby eakm nded to collect out of the real entate and personal pro- perty, and from each of the persona and corporations named in the annexed roll, the taxes set down in each roll opposite each nsa>fi►e, corporation or parcel of land and there -in described, and in case taxes so imposed are not paid at the time prescribed by law, you are to collect the same by levy and sale of the goods and chattels, lands and tene- ments so assessed, or of the person or corporation so taxed; and all stairs collected for the state you are to pay to the State Treasurer at such time as may be required by law, and at the same time you are to pay to the legalli qualified Depository all sme coliec -ed for the County Taxes, district school taxes, and other special.taxes; and you are further required to make all collections on or before the first Monday in April; and on or before the first Monday in July, you will make a final report to and settlement wi the Comptroller and County Commissioners.
