Add: Update on Fire Stations <br />a.m. <br />Emergency Services Director John King updated the Board on the <br />status of the Fire Stations and stated that on Wednesday, April 8, <br />2015, the County received notice to move forward with mold <br />remediation and the renovation process with the Fire Stations. He <br />continued that Contract Services started the repairs at Fire Station <br />11, located at Wabasso Beach on Thursday, April 9, 2015, and the <br />repairs were expected to be completed within three to four weeks. <br />He added, once Fire Station 11 was completed, Contract Services <br />would begin repairs at Fire Station 10. <br />Director King recalled Fire Station 1, located at Old Dixie <br />Highway, has an approximately $1 million renovation project <br />scheduled. As part of the process to move forward with the <br />renovations, two commercial modular units were ordered with the <br />first modular to be placed at Fire Station 1.
