area for the placement of the temporary modular unit; and (3) <br /> authorize the County Administrator to help spearhead and initiate <br /> the lease, which would accelerate the process before coming back to <br /> the Board for final approval. <br /> MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Flescher, SECONDED <br /> by Chairman Davis, to: (1) authorize the Assistant Fire Chief to <br /> continue working towards the most favorable site; (2) agree to the <br /> general area for the placement of the temporary modular unit; and <br /> (3) authorize the County Administrator to help initiate and execute <br /> the lease. <br /> Commissioner Zorc suggested that staff speak to the owners of the <br /> building (St. Lucie Tire and Battery store) to see how much they <br /> would charge to use five existing parking spaces on an annual basis. <br /> MOTION WAS AMENDED by Commissioner Flescher, <br /> SECONDED by Chairman Davis, to include authorizing the <br /> County Administrator latitude to include the leasing of improved <br /> parking spaces, if it was cost effective. <br /> The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the amended <br /> Motion carried unanimously.
