LaBruee received 19 votes <br />*ME Feazel, reoeived 54 votes <br />Lucius Sloan received 13 votes <br />Shall bonds in the sum of $200,000.00 be issued for the purpose of constructing a <br />paved road across Saint Johns Earsh, near South boundary of Brevard County in Fellsmere <br />Cross State Road District as provided in law creating said District: Yes: 173 votes were <br />oast '"3C S" upon said issue of bonds. Helseth. <br />The following resolution was adopted: <br />SAS there is not a sufficient amount of revenue on hand in the General Revenue <br />Fund to meet the current and necessary expenses of the County to be paid from said Fund, <br />and WHEREAS the Fine & Forfeiture Fund has a. large surplus of cash on hand at this time, <br />over and above all necessary amounts for the proper conduct of the affairs of the County, <br />THEREFORE be it resolved that the slam of $3,000.00 be transferred from the Fine & <br />Forfeiture Fund to the General Revenue Fund, on approval only of the Comptroller of the <br />State of Florida. <br />Superintendent of Schools, W. E. Riggs, appeared before the Board regarding repairs <br />over one mile road. It was ordered the County Engineer be instructed to place same in <br />a passable condition if possible. <br />It was ordered that the County Engineer be instructed to make a fill on road <br />leading from Oslo Road South. <br />It was ordered the County Engineer purchase the following: One Ford touring car <br />chassis; One Ford touring Car body. One Ford Roadster with steel Truck body. One Ford <br />Roadster with wood Truck body. One Ford Roadster with wood body. One Fordson Tractor <br />and One Mowing Rachine. <br />The following resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />BE IT RESOLVED that all maps or plats presented for the approval of this Board shall <br />•e 24x28 inches in size and that the County Engineer of Indian River County be and he is <br />Hereby designated as the accredited representative of this Board for the purpose of <br />sassing on all maps or plats presented for the approval of this Board, and that all <br />slats presented for the approval of this Board, be and they are hereby submitted to the <br />ounty Engineer for his approval, and km if he finds that such plat or map so submitted <br />s in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, and of the regulations prescribed <br />•y this Board he shall endorse his apporval thereon as the accredited representative <br />f this Board, and the plat or map may then be recorded in accordance with the provisions <br />•f Chapter 10,275 Laws of Florida. <br />If the County Engineer shall find that such plat or map does not meet the <br />equirements of the laws of the State of Florida and the regulations of this Board, he <br />=hall return the same to the owner or person submitting such plat or map, together <br />
