1 <br />0 <br />1 <br />participate in said election had been by hien furnished, on December 149 19359 to the inspec- <br />tors and Clerk of `the said election at every voting place where the said election was held', <br />and that the said list, as filed with this Board of County Commissioners 9 . is a complete <br />list of all voters qualified to participate in such election. <br />The Board of County Commissioners did proceed to canvass the returns and declare the <br />result of the election held in Indian River County on December 160 1935 on the question <br />"Shall the County of Indian River issue 845,500 general obligation bonds for the purpose of <br />financing the construction of a Court House in and for said County, said bonds to be dated <br />September 1, 1935, to mature serially over h period of 19 years, and to bear interest at the <br />rate of four per centum per annum, payable semi-annually?" Thereupon Commissioner. Poole <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption, to -wit: <br />uHPRBAS, the returns of the election held on December 169 1935 in Indian River County, <br />Florida, to determine the question *Miall the County of Indian River issue 9459500 general <br />obligation bonds for the purpose of <br />financing <br />the construction of <br />a Court <br />Rouse in and #or <br />sai& County, said bonds to be dated <br />September <br />19 19351, to mature <br />serially <br />over a period of <br />19 years, and to bear interest at the rate of four per centum per annum, payable semi-annuallft" <br />from each and all of the polling precincts in Indian River County, Florida have been duly <br />returned to the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River county, Florida with returns in <br />dOplicate and signed and certified by two inspectors and one Clerk in each of said polling <br />precincts in said County and this Board of County Commissioners has herewith proceeded to <br />canvass said returns; therefore, <br />BE IT RMUED that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County does here - <br />with determine and declare the result of said election in the respective polling precincts <br />in said County to . be as follows: <br />Polling Precinct -.No., 1, Roseland - 15 votes : were cast ".Por bonds" and no <br />votes were cast- "Against. bands". <br />Polling Precinct�xo. 29 Sebastian -.32 -votes -were cast IAFOr bondsO and. no <br />votes were cast "Against Bonds". <br />Polling Precinct No. 3, vabasse 31 votes were cast 13br Bois" -and -one <br />vote was cast "Against bonds". <br />Polling Precinct No. 49 winterBeach­ 26- votes- were cast %3'or bonds". .n& <br />three votes were oast "Against Bonds". <br />Polling Precinct N©. 5,9 North Vero Beach - 209 votes were. cast %For Bonde" <br />And 6 votes were cast -*Aghinet Bonds". <br />Polling Precinct No 6, South Vero Beach 164 votes were cast 0.3or Bonds" <br />and 3 votes were cast- oAgainet Bonds". <br />Polling Precinct- No. 7 Oslo 7 .votes were cast "For Bonds" and one vote <br />was east "Against -Bonnie" .. <br />Polling Precinet No. 8, Fellemere - 38 votes were cast..bgor Bonds andno, <br />votes were cast "Against Bonds"* <br />and does find, declare and determine the result of said election in Indian River County gFlorida, � <br />to be that 422 votes was the total number of votes cast in said election "For Bonds" and in <br />favor of the approval of bonds, and 14 votes was the total number of votes cast in odd elec- <br />tion "Against Bonds% and against the approval of bonds, and that 422 qualified electors, who <br />are freeholders residing in Indian River County, cast their ballots at said election held <br />December 16, 1935 in the affirmative and 14 qualified electors, who are freeholders residing <br />in Indian River County cast their ballots at said election held December 16, 1935 in the <br />negative on the question "Shall the county of Indian River issue V459500 general obligation <br />bonds for the purpose of financing the construction of a. Court House in and for said County, <br />said <br />bonds to <br />be <br />dated September 19 1935, to mature serially over a period of 19 <br />years, and to <br />bear <br />interest <br />at <br />the rate of four per centum per annum, payable <br />semi-annually?* <br />and that a <br />majority of the votes cast at said election were in favor.of approving the issuance of bonds <br />aforesaid; <br />
