ATTACHMENT E-6 <br />RESOLUTION 2015- 05g <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING A <br />GRANT APPLICATION TO THE FLORIDA INLAND <br />NAVIGATION DISTRICT WATERWAYS ASSISTANCE <br />PROGRAM FOR IMPROVEMENTS AND REPAIRS <br />TO BE MADE TO ROUND ISLAND RIVERSIDE <br />PARK. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County owns, operates and maintains Round Island <br />Riverside Park located on the eastern shore of the Indian River Lagoon in southern <br />Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County is interested in carrying out the following <br />described project for the enjoyment of the citizenry of Indian River County and the State <br />of Florida: <br />Project Title: Round Island Riverside Park Improvement/Repairs <br />Total Estimated Cost: $ 278,000 <br />Brief Description of Project: Replacement of observation/fishing boardwalk (380 <br />linear feet, 2,600 sq. feet), Rebuild and repave boat ramp approach (± 4,800 sq. yards), <br />parking for kayakers and day users (±2,500 sq. yards), and the park driveway access ± <br />2,100 sq. yards); and <br />WHEREAS, Florida Inland Navigation District financial assistance is required for <br />the program mentioned above. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1. That the Round Island Riverside Park Improvement/Repairs project described <br />above is hereby authorized and approved, <br />2. Be it further resolved that said Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County make application to the Florida Inland Navigation District in the amount of 32.4% <br />of the actual cost of the project in behalf of said Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County. <br />3. And be it further resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County that it certifies to the following: <br />
