<br />Subject to the tertius and conditions of an offer dated AUgUSt 24th, 19389 from the
<br />United States of America to Indian River County, Florida, wherein the United States of America
<br />offered to aid in financing the construction of a project therein defined, which offer was ac-
<br />cepted by the County September 3rd, 1938, and the official notice of sale -of Court House Bunds
<br />of said County, the United States of America offers to purchase 9504 aggregate principal
<br />amount of Court House Bonds of said County (being part of'an authorized issue of`$45,500 of so
<br />Bonds), to be dated September 1, 19359 to bear interest at the rate of four per centum'(4) per
<br />annum payable semi --annually on March l and September 1 in each year, first Inter -eat payable
<br />March 19 19360 to be in the denomination of $1,0000 each, except bond`Ho.l, which is to be In
<br />the denomination of $300, to mature in the amount of $500 on September 1, 1937, $1,000 on Sept-
<br />ember 1, in each of the years 1933 to 1939;1nclusive, $2,000 on September 1, in each of the
<br />years 1940 to 1951 inclusive, and $3,000 on September 1, in each of the years 1952 to 1958 in-
<br />clusive, to be redeemable at the option of the County in inverse numerical order at par plus
<br />accrued interest on any, interest payment date after,publioation once each week for four Congo-
<br />outive weeks in a financial newspaper published in Now York, N. Y. of notice of intention to
<br />redeem the bends specified in said notice,_ first publication of -such notice to be not more
<br />than sixty days nor less than ninety days prior to the redemption date, to be serial coupon
<br />bonds, to be payable as to both principal and interest at the Indian River Citrus Bank, Vero
<br />Beach, Florida, or at the option of the holder at a Bank or Trust Company in Now Yorke Hy Y.,
<br />to be reglsterable as to principal only and to pay therefor a price of par plus accrued inter-
<br />est thereon at the coupon rate from the date of the bonds or from the last preceding -interest
<br />payment date of the bonds preceding the date of the payment of the purchase price`to the date
<br />of the payment of the purchase price (all matured coupons to be detached and destroyed prior to
<br />delivery),
<br />The United States of America shall be under no obligation to take up and pay for the
<br />bonds which it herein offers to purchase until a certified copy of the transcript of
<br />relative to the authorisation, issuance and sale of such bonds has been furnished to the Fede;
<br />Emergency Administration of Public Works evidencing to the satisfaction of the Administrator
<br />that said bends are valid and binding obligations of said County, payable as to bath principal
<br />and interest from ad valorem taxes which may be levied without limit as to rate or amount upon
<br />all of the taxable property located within the territorial limits of Indian River County,
<br />Florida, `
<br />The Wted States of America shall further be under no obligation to take up and pay
<br />for the bonds which it herein offers to purchase until said bonds and the proceedings relative
