RESOLUTION NO. 2015 - 078 <br />A Resolution of <br />the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County, Florida, <br />for Approval of the 2015 <br />Revised Indian River County <br />Unified Local Mitigation Strategy <br />WHEREAS, on July 13, 2010, Indian River County's updated Unified Local Mitigation <br />Strategy (LMS) was adopted by Resolution No. 2010-059; and <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency requires that all Hazard <br />Mitigation plans must be reviewed and updated as appropriate, and resubmitted to FEMA for <br />approval within five (5) years; and <br />WHEREAS, FEMA staff has reviewed and approved Indian River County's hazard <br />mitigation plan and determined that it is compliant with federal standards and is now ready for <br />approval by the Board. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, that: <br />1. The updated Unified Local Mitigation Strategy (a copy of which is located in the Clerk to <br />the Board's Office) is hereby adopted as the official document for inclusion in the State- <br />wide Hazard Mitigation Strategy. <br />2. The 2015 Revised Indian River County Unified Local Mitigation Strategy Plan will be <br />forwarded to each municipality for their formal approval. <br />The Resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Flescher The <br />motion was seconded by Commissioner 0' Bryan and, upon being put to a vote, the <br />vote was as follows: <br />Chairman <br />Wesley S.
