0 <br />r. <br />I - <br />I - <br />The Board then proceeded to attend to and dispose of such mattem3as regularly come be - <br />fore the Board of County Commissioners. <br />Mrs. David hose, Sebastian, appeared before the Board and requested that the apportion - <br />meat of funds for County Home Demonstration be made and retained. in the budget for the next <br />f i scal year. No action vas taken on this request. <br />It vas ordered that the following persons be stricken from the pauper list, who are now <br />receiving aid from the County: <br />Mrs. F. A. uoadenberry, v4inter Beach <br />Mrs. J. u. Conniff, hinter Beach., <br />It was further ordered that C. W. h amilton, reinter Beech, now receiving aid as a pauper <br />be reduced from X6.00 per month to V4.00 per month beginning with August payment. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried it was ordered that A. JJ. I-loitevident, pauper, be <br />advanced the sum of §30.00 as his allowance for the months of august --September and October <br />in order that he receive medical aid and assistance. <br />A request was received from the City Council of Vero Beach asking that the County lease <br />the -East and wrest end of the Vero Bridge for beat$tifieation purposes. it was ordered that such <br />lease be executed by the Clerk and Chairman when prepared by the City Attorney. <br />The Barnett Notional Bank, Cocoa, Florida, having filed proper application requests to be <br />named and designated as County Depository for the year 1936--19379 upon motion made, seconded <br />and carried it was ordered such Bank be designated as the County Depository for the following <br />funds: <br />General Revenue Fund <br />Fine & Forfeiture Fund <br />Road & Bridge Fund <br />Mothers' Pension Fund <br />Special R&B Dist #19 Maint <br />Special R&B Dist f49 Maint <br />Vero Bridge Dist, Maint <br />Y,uay Bridge Di strict, Maint <br />vrabasso Bridge Dist., Faint <br />Outstanding indebtedness Fund <br />Interest & Sinking Fund <br />and the Depository bond set at the sum of 4p10,000.00 to consist only of United States Govern- <br />ment bonds and Home owners' Loan Corporation bonds. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were examined and <br />found correct, were approved, and warrants ordered issued in settlement of same. Such bills <br />and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk Circuit Court. The warrants so issued <br />from the respective funds being listed in the supplemental minute book as required by the <br />rules of the State .Auditor, reference to such record being made a part of these minutes. <br />The County Depository filed its monthly statement showing receipts sand disbursements of <br />the various funds, which having been checked and properly audited were found to be correct. <br />The Board then adjourned until tomorrow morning at 10:00 o'clock. <br />- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - <br />TUB -MAY, JULY 7th 1936. <br />The Board of County Commissioners of andia,n River county met in the office of the Clerk <br />of <br />the Circuit Court at Vero Beech, in the County of IndianRiver, on this the 7th day of <br />July, 19360 and the following County Commissioners were present: J .J .P.Hazmilton, Chaimman; <br />R. L. Yudge; S. P. Poole and Sdwin A. Helseth. Also present were Chas..A. Mitchell, Attorney, <br />William Frick, Sheriff and Miles warren, Clerk. <br />W. H. Garns, Architect, presented an offer of the contractor for constructionof the Court <br />House, to install drainage in the basement of said building for V140.00. it was ordered that <br />this work and addition to such building be made. <br />Miss Hester Graham, Social Welfare Director, of the Federal Social Seeutiry Board appeared <br />efore this Board respecting Federal and State old age pensions to persons over the age of 70 <br />etas, after some dispussion, the following resolution was proposed,and unanimously adopted: <br />
