1 <br />1 <br />WIDNEgDAY, OCTOBER 12th., 1938. . <br />The Board of,County Commissioners of Indian River County,met at the Court House in <br />Vero Beach, at _.9;30 Otolock A. M. Wednesday, October 12th., 1938, in adjourned meeting with <br />the following members of the Board present; E. P. Poole, Chairman; C. S. Michael; S. E. Glover <br />and Albert O. Helseth.. Absent was Frank C. Vickers. Also present were William Frick, Sheriff;, <br />Charles A. Mitchell, Attorney for the Board and Douglas Baker, Clerk. <br />The County Assessor of taxes,' W. R. Duncan, appeared before the Board and presented <br />the tax rolls for the year 1938 on real and personal property and also intangible tax roll,whi <br />were carefully examined and found correct and on -motion made by S. E. Glover, seconded by Albe <br />0. Helseth and carried were approved, and the warrant to each of said rolls were annexed theretc <br />and is in words and figures following: <br />THE STATE OF FLORIDA. <br />To Troy E. Moody, Tax Collector of the County of Indian River: <br />You are hereby commanded to collect out of the real estate and personal property, and <br />from each of the persons and corporations named in the annexed roll, the taxes set down in each <br />roll opposite each name, corporation or parcel of land therein described, and in case taxes so <br />imposed are not paid at the time prescribed, by law, you are to collect the same by levy and <br />sale of the goods and chattels, lands and tenements so assessed, or of the person or corporati <br />so taxed; and all sums collected for the State..taxes you are to pay to the State Treasurer at <br />such time as may be required by law, and at the same time you are to pay to the legally quali- <br />fied Depository all sums collected for County taxes, district school taxes and other special. <br />taxes; and you are further required to make all collections on or before the first Monday in <br />April; and on or before the first Monday in July you will make a final report to and settlement <br />with the Comptroller and County Commissioners. <br />Given under my hand and seal, this the 19th. day -of October, in the year A.D. 1938. <br />W. Duncan <br />ssessor Of axes, Indian River Uounfy. <br />As provided by law the Board then proceeded to revise the registration books of the <br />County as follows, to -wit: <br />Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />.Florida have met as provided bylaw and examined and revised the registration books of said <br />County and have erased therefrom the names of all such as have died or removed from the County <br />or from one District to another in the County or who are otherwise disqualified to vote and that <br />a list of the names that have been erased or taken..from the -registration books of each bistrict <br />In said County, either by the Supervisor of Registration or said Board of County Commissioners <br />is hereinafter listed as follows: <br />PRECINCT #1 <br />Anderson, Agnes M. <br />Hammond, Theo., E. <br />Murphy, W.
