<br />Personally before me, the undersigned, an officer
<br />authorized under the laws of said State to administer
<br />oaths, came J. J. Schumann, business manager of the
<br />Vero Beach Press -Journal, a newspaper published in Vero
<br />Beach, Indian River County, Florida, who; being first
<br />duly sworn, says that the Vero Beach Press -Journal is a
<br />newspaper which has been continuously. published at least
<br />once a week, and which has been entered as second class
<br />mail matter, in Vero Beach, Indian River County, Flori-
<br />da, for a period of more than one year next preceding the
<br />first insertion of this publication; that the advertisement

<br />of County Commissioners of Indian River

<br />County and 'described as follows, to -wit:

<br />Section 2, Township 83 South, Range
<br />39 East, less the East 400'feet there -
<br />o2 heretofore conveyed to Ci y of Vero
<br />Beach.

<br />Court at :the Court Souse ;in 'Fero Beach,
<br />Vlorida'arid' they shall be opened and read
<br />at the first reguldr meeting of the Board
<br />of County Commissioners to be held in

<br />M. Thursday morning, January 6, 1989.
<br />The, request to the County to make
<br />available said real estate which is not in
<br />use by the.County at this -time is in order
<br />that homes may be built upon said prop-
<br />erty and the putting of said',pro", to
<br />such use will be a consideration in the
<br />acceptance of bids. The Board reserves
<br />the. right to reject any and all bids.
<br />The • Board will welcome attendance at
<br />the meeting in question of any interested
<br />citizens who may care to advise with the
<br />Board upon the question of 'making sale
<br />of. said property.

<br />Thereupon the"following bid was publieally opened and read aloud, to -wit:

<br />I hereby offer to pardheise the South half of the S Wt of .S 3-t
<br />(less B 400 ft. to City of Vero Beach) Sea. 2-33-39 at the rate of $40.00 .
<br />per acre, the said tract consisting of approximately 14 acres of land.

<br />After careful consideration and discussion it was moved by W. C. Graves, dr. seconded
<br />by Frank C. Viokers and unanimously carried that the Board accept the bid of Chas. S. Kuster
<br />subject -to the fallowing requirements of this Board, to -wit:
<br />1. That survey be made by surveyor approved by this Board but at the expense of
<br />purchaser in order to define definitely the boundary of the property.
<br />2. That such survey shall show the property to.be the property pointed out by the
<br />purchaser to members Of the Board and that the actual property so shown by such survey.be the
<br />property the members of the Board have in mind as the property herewith provided to be sold.
