'The road first mentioned to go thru the center of Sections 33 and'34. Said road <br />right-of-way to be not less than sixty (60) feet in width. <br />It was ordered that the petition be filed, and that D. L. Leisher, S. E. Haffield, <br />and W. J. Maher be appointed a committee to view and mark out said road and report <br />to this Board. <br />C. C. Braswell appeared before the Board asking_ for permission to erect a gate <br />at the entrance to Winter Beach, which was granted. <br />- The time having arrived to open bids for road construction in Special Road 80 <br />Bridge District No. 4 the following kit firms bid was received read and considered: <br />R. G. Lassiter for projeot No. 1 only amount of bid $180,636.50 <br />Standard Asphalt Company for Project No. 1 133,700.70 --project No. 2, 482,300.95 <br />projeot No. 3; 479,778.90; project No. 4, $156,403.45, total of all projects bid <br />$652,184.00. A. Braddook: <br />• WHEREAS, Messrs. E. J. Sellard andjMiles.MoNeoe appeared before the Board of <br />County Commissioners of rndian River County, Florida, at the regular meeting of said <br />Board on the first Tuesday in January 1926, and presented a petition signed by 192 • <br />qualified electors of Indian River County, Florida, who are taxpayers on real or <br />personal property, praying for a change of the location of the county -site of said <br />County, and the supervisor of registration of said County appeared before said Board <br />and presented a written certificate bo the Board showing that there are 560'qualified <br />electors of said County who are tax payers on real or personal property, as the same <br />appears from the registration books in his office and from the tax assessment roll <br />of said County for the year 1925, and it appearing to the Board that the petition <br />thus presented is signed by more than one-third of the qualified electors of Indian <br />River County, Florida, who are taxpayers on real or personal property, praying for a <br />change of the location of the County site of said county; <br />IT IS, therefore, hereby resolved and ordered that an election be -held at the <br />several precinots'of IndianRiver County, Florida, on the 9th day of February 1926, <br />for the location of the county -site of said County, at which time there shall be <br />submitted to the voters of 'said County the question of the location of the County <br />site thereof; and be it further <br />RESOLVED, that at said election no person shall be allowed to vote except t .ose <br />
