The several Depositories of the County filed their monthly statements Showing <br />amount deposited and warrants paid and balances on hand at the close of the month. <br />The amount on hand in the respective funds is as follows: <br />GENERAL REVENUE FUND $30,447.33 <br />FINE & FORFEITURE FUND..-3,093.42 <br />9,524.30 <br />AGRICULTURE FUND 995.98 <br />TIME WARRENT rum) 25,934.49 <br />MOTHERS PENSION FUND263.30 <br />PUBLICITY rum) • 103.41 <br />R & B DIST I 4I&S 33,902.23 <br />R & B DIST 4 ' (I&S <br />INTEREST & SINKING FUND9,300.87 <br />ROAD & BRIDGE 'FUND <br />There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried the Board <br />adjourned until tomorrow Wednesday, January 6th 1926 at 2 o'clock <br />P.M. <br />WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 6th 1926. <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met at the <br />Court House in Vero Beach, Florida, at 2 o'clock P.M.Wednesday, January 6th 1926, <br />pursuant to adjournment of yesterday, withthe following members of the Board present: <br />John H Atkin, Chairman; G A Braddock; J.W.LaBruce; Donald Forbes and 0. 0. Helseth. <br />Also present was Miles Warren, Clerk. <br />The Board proceeded to go into executive session for the purpose of further con- <br />sidering the bids received for road construction do Special Road & Bridge District No.4. <br />and after carefully considering the bids submitted, it was ordered, on motion made,. <br />seoonded and carried that all such bids be rejeoted. <br />The Board then proceeded to consider the bids for motor truck equipment bids, <br />and after giving all bids careful consideration and having discussed at some length <br />the propositions so submitted in said bids, it was ordered that the bid for the <br />Indiana Trucks be accepted at the price of $2603.00 each, and the Chairman. and Clerk <br />were instructed to enter into a•contract for the purchase and delivery of ten such <br />truoks. <br />The Board then proceeded to consider the bids for excavator and cranes, and after <br />having carefully considered each and every bid and after discussing at some length the <br />propositions so submitted, it was ordered, that the County Engineer and Commissioner <br />J.W.LaBruee investigate the workings of such excavators under consideration, and <br />ascertain and determine the best machine and report back their findings, and on such <br />recommendation the Clerk and Chairman of this Board are authorized to enter into a <br />contract for the purchase of such excavator. <br />The Notary Public bond of L. F. MoCullers, in the sum of $500.00 with the American <br />Surety Company, a corporation, of New York as surety was approved. <br />There being no further business, the Board then adjourned until the regular <br />meet ng in ebruary 1926. <br />C erk. /I? g <br />carman <br />
