<br />Douglas Baker, Clerk vias instructed to write the City of 'hero Beach and Mr. Harry
<br />Le Meyers, Area Supervisor requesting thott-cooperation as to .the opening oftheminter Beach
<br />Cemetary Project and as to the continuation of the operation of two W.P.A. Projects in Indian
<br />River County.
<br />It was ordered the -Board furnish Mrs. Mabel P. Johnson two tires and tubes for her
<br />automobile in connection with the W.P.A. Housekeeping Aid Project.
<br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited were eaami
<br />and found correct, were approved and warrants ordered issued in the -settlement of same. Such
<br />bills and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk -of the Circuit Court,& The wa:rVants
<br />so issued from the respeattim funds being listed in the supplemental minute book as provided
<br />the rules of the State Auditor, reference to such record and the list :sot recorded being made
<br />a part of these minutes.
<br />The County Depository filed its monthly statement, showing receipts and di
<br />of the various funds which having been audited was found to be correct.

<br />The being no further business on motion made, seoonded.and carried the Board then
<br />adjourned. •

<br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River*County met at the Courthouse in
<br />Vero Beach at 2:00 o'clock P. M. Saturday, September 9th, 1939L-oalled meeting with the fol-
<br />lowing members of the Board present; C. S. Michael,, Chaitnan, S. E. Glover, W. C. Graves, Tr.,'
<br />AN Albert 0, Helseth. Absent; Frank C. Vtokers.-Also present were Wm. M. Frick, Sheriff; and
<br />Attorneys foritthe Board, Mitchell, Smith and Mitchells and Douglas Baker, Clerk*
<br />The Chairman announced this meeting was celled for the purpose of furthe�onsi
<br />the proposal of S. B.(Taylor with regard to the purchase of county owned property located lout
<br />of the county jail
<br />Mr. S. B. Taylor and. his attorney, -Judge .L. M. Merriman appeared before the Board Ij
<br />and prdsdntdd the Various problems confronting him and set out the requirements that would neo
<br />es.sarily, have. -to be- -jut by ,Mr.. Taylor and requested the 000pexatio . of'. the Boa d:: In meeting
<br />said requirements.

<br />Albert 0. Helseth and unanimously carried that the County would sell the property In question il
<br />to�.Mr. Taylor for,, $BQffv and authority be given to Attorney Mitchell and that he be instructed
<br />to prepare the neoeasary papers in conformity with the wishes of the Board.
