1 <br />C <br />It was ordered Christine E. Rieohe be placed on the Pauper's list to receive the sum <br />of $5.00 per month through December, 1940, on condition of House rental, for the aid of her <br />brother Will Rieche. <br />The matter of William Edward Kersey who is a patient in the Florida State Tuberc.ulos <br />Sanatorium, Orlando was brought.up and it was moved by S. E. Glover, seconded by W. C. Graves,Jr <br />and unanimously carred that the Board would assume the County portion of the hospitalization <br />expense to become effective as of October 1, 1940. <br />Messrs. S. R. and G A. Hamilton, Incorporators of the Winter Beach Cemetery Assooia- <br />tion appeared before the Board and stated that the Winter Beach Cemetery Association was active <br />and pre -pared to take over the Winter Beach Cemetery and on motion made by S. 1. Glover, second- <br />ed by Frank C. Vickers and oarried it was ordered that a deed, without any restrictions bo <br />executed, delivered whereby the property is conveyed to the Minter Beach Cemetery Association. <br />Leila M. D. treatments 67 <br />Mother's Pension.application for Eutha M. Armstrong was approved for the sum of $10 <br />per month until the further orders of the Board. <br />It was ordered Robert Redmond (Col.) receive the sum of $5.00 per month in lieu of <br />the sum of $4.00 until.the further orders of the Board. <br />Commissioner Vickers brought up the matter of having Buster Thompson parolled from <br />the County Jail and was advised that matters of this kind were handled by the Governor. <br />It was moved by Commissioner. Graves, seconded by Commissioner Helseth and carried <br />and it was ordered deeds of Road #30 Right of Way be -delivered to County Engineer E. E. Carter <br />to make contracts'in.a000rdanoe with the instructions of the Board of County Commissioners <br />with the and of se?suting:the execution of the deeds. <br />Douglas Baker, Clerk appeared before the Board and requested permission to purchase <br />Clark's <br />a typewriter for the/mss: -rL* office. On motion made by Commissioner Glover, seconded <br />by Commissioner Vickers and carried the request was granted. <br />On motion made by Commissioner Graves, seconded by Commissioner Vickers and carried <br />it was ordered that Chairman Michael be permitted to purchase a used typewriter from the ClerkIs <br />office for the sum of $15.00 which is the regular trade-in price allowed by the Underwood <br />Typewriter Company. <br />DUCK -RESOLUTION <br />Commissioner Vickers introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br />INASMUCH as the Federal open season on ducks begins November 2nd, in Florida, and <br />the State Law starts the season November 20th, and <br />
