of our Government in the present unlimited national emergency to the full limit and extent of <br />their financial ability by purchasing United States Defense Savings Bonds and Stamps in such <br />amount or amounts as they may be able to do, the issuance and sale of which are unqualifiedly <br />approved and endorsed by this Board. <br />3. That a certified copy of this resolution -be forthwith furnished the local press, <br />and that copies thereof be sent by the Clerk of this Board to the proper officials of the <br />Government of the United States of America. <br />Resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Glover and upon being put to a vote the same was <br />unanimously adopted. <br />It was moved by Frank C. Vickers, seconded by W. C. Graves, Jr., and carried that the <br />sum of $100.90 be appropriated for appraisal of property in condemnation suit and that W. C. <br />Graves J,Tmd Albert 0. Helseth, to concur as to the person or persons to be employed in malting <br />the appraisal. <br />It was ordered that a committee of 'N. C. Graves Jr., S. E. Glover and C. S. Michael <br />from this Board meet with the Rod & Gun Club Committee at their meeting to be held tomight. <br />Miss Leila Bunkley, County Nurse, appeared before the Board and filed a report of -her <br />activities for the month of July, 1941, as follows, to wit: <br />COUNTY NURSE' 'S MONTHLY REPORT, JULY 1941. <br />Number of cases for the month - - - - - - - - 69 <br />Number: of visits to cases - - - - - - - - - - - - 80 <br />Visits in behalf of cases - - - - - - - - - - - -- 83 <br />To.F.C.C.C. Pierce Hospital for operation <br />Office Interviews - - - - - - -- - - -- - - - -- 70 <br />Hook worm treatments - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 8 <br />Number of families receiving clothing - - - - - - - 5 <br />Number of garments to these families - - - - - - - 41 <br />It was ordered that the bill of Dr. Stoner -in the sum of $40.00 for services rendered <br />George Lewis be approved for the sum of $25.00. <br />Application for admission to the Florida State Tuberculosis Sanitorium, Orlando, for <br />Mrs. H. C. Rodenberry was approved with the understanding that Mr. Rodenberry would pay the <br />.County's part for two months. <br />It was ordered that warrant be issued to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta on the <br />Courthouse Bond Sinking Fund in the sum of $2580.00 in payment of Courthouse Bonds #6 and 7 and <br />Coupons due September 1, 1941. <br />Verdict of Coroner's Jury in the matter of the inquest on the body of Fred Irwin was <br />received and ordered filed. <br />Sheriff, William W. Frick, filed his semi-annual report of fees and commissions for <br />the period January 1, 1941 to June 30th, 1941, as.f ollows: <br />RECEIPTS: <br />CIVIL DOCKET 334.88 <br />AR.
