<br />According to the millage so determined, fixed, assessed the total millage to be
<br />entered in the column provided for County taxes in the assessment roll for the year 1941, is
<br />Six (5) mills upon the dollar, to cover a total estimated expenditure of $83,338.75.
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Tax Assessor in and for Indian River County, Flori
<br />be and he is hereby directed to assess and levy the foregoing taxes as fixed by this Board up-
<br />on the taxable property in Indian River County subject thereto, and that he extend such taxes
<br />on the valuation of such property according to said millage-as fixed, determined and levied
<br />by this Board as provided by law; that a certified copy of, this resolution be furnished to the
<br />County Tax Assessor.
<br />The motion for the adoption of the said resolution for the levy of taxes was seconded
<br />by Commissioner Helseth, and adopted by the following vote:
<br />Ayes: Helseth, Graves and Michael.
<br />Nays: None.
<br />Commissioner Graves introduced the following resolution and moved adoption, to -
<br />wit:
<br />WHEREAS, the respective boards and taxing districts being :authorized to i`1 --'and
<br />levy taxes upon property situated within Indian River -County, Florida, as provided, by
<br />fixed such tax levies and have certified the same to.this Board and this Board having consid-
<br />ered the same and having then found them to be proper, therefore be it resolved that;
<br />To meet the current expenses incidental and necessary to the operation of the Public
<br />Schools of the County, and to pay the salaries of teachers, bus drivers and repair school
<br />houses and buses as estimated by the County Board of Public Instruction,_ the sum of $151.,232.4%
<br />it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of 3.5 mills upon the dollar be levied,
<br />assessed and is hereby imposed upon all the property in the County of Indian River on the first
<br />day of January, 1941.
<br />Estimates having been made by the Trustees of SPECIAL TAX SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1, and
<br />the Trustees having certified the rate of millage voted to be assessed it was determined that
<br />a tax rate of 2.5 mills upon the dollar be levied, and is hereby fixed and assessed for the.
<br />year 1941, on all of the property in the County of Indian River lying and being within the
<br />boundaries of the said District No.1, which boundaries are as follows, to -wit: Beginning at
<br />the Northeast corner of Sec. 39 Tp. 31, Range 39 E. then run west along County line to N.W.
<br />Corner of Tp. 3.1 S., Range 38 E., thence South along Range line to S.W.Corner Sec. 18, Tp.
<br />31 S., Range 38 E., thence East along Section line to Atlantic Ocean, thence -North along Ocean
<br />beach to starting point.
<br />Estimates having been made by the Trustees, of SPECIAL TAX SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 7, and
<br />the Trustees having certified the rate of millage voted to be assessed it was determined that
<br />a tax rate of 2.5 mills upon the dollar be levied, and is hereby fixed and assessed for the yea
<br />1941, on all of the property in the County of Indian River lying and being within the bouadar-
<br />ies of the said District No. 7, which boundaries are as follows, to -wit:' Beginning at the
<br />Northeast corner of Sec. 230 Tp. 31 S., Range 39 E., then run west along Section line to N.W.
