'4 1104,000 <br />�.ar•.+®.rr.r.r..�..►. �. r r®.sc— mss.® <br />After consideration of the bids, Commissioner Graves introduced the following resol- <br />ution and moved its adoption, which motion was seconded by Commissioner Helseth, and, upon <br />roll call, said resolution was adopted by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Graves, Relseth, Glover, Michael and Vickers <br />Nays: None <br />Not Voting: None E <br />The resolution was in wards -and figures as follows: <br />WHEREAS, by proceedings heretofore duly had and taken by this Board, a total of <br />$4179000 Roan and Bridge Refunding Bonds of Indian River County, Florida, Special Road and <br />Bridge District No. 4, dated January 1, 194:1, were authorized to be issued in lieu of an equal <br />7r <br />amount of Road and Bridge Refunding Bonds of said District dated January 1, 1937; and <br />WHEREAS, of said $417,000 bonds all except $148,000 thereof have heretofore been <br />Issued; and <br />SAS, by a dvertisement appearing in the Vero Beach Press -Journal of December 12, <br />1941, and December 19, 1941, issues (like advertisement appeared in the December 159 19419 <br />issue of the Bond Buyer published in New York City) notice was given that sealed bids would be <br />received by this Board until 10:00 o'clock A. M., on December 23, 19419 for the sale of $148,0 <br />of said Refunding Bonds; and <br />WHEREAS, after full consideration of the bids, this Board found and .determined that <br />the -bid .of R. E. Crummer & Company of par and accrued interest plus a premiunt- of $30.00 for <br />each $1,000 bond delivered is the best bid and that it is in the best interest of said County <br />that said bid be accepted; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUN'T'Y' COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUVTY, FLORIDA, <br />IN SESSION DULY ASIS LED : <br />accepted. <br />Section 1. _ That the said bid of R'. - B.. Crummer & Company be and the same is hereby <br />Section 2. That the amount of bonds dated January 1, 1941, to be delivered under <br />the bid shall, pursuant to law, be reduced by the amount of,$44,000, as this amount of Refund- <br />ing Bonds of the 1937 beries (together with $1,000.00 additional amount of such 1937 series, <br />being Bond No. 361, for which no 1941 Series was provided) will be retired out of bash to the <br />credit of Indian River County°Special Road and Bridge District No. 4 with the State Board of <br />.Administration. The Refunding Bonds of January 1, 1941, of those advertised in the "Not ice <br />of Bond Sale" not to 'be issued because of this retirement of bonds of the 1937 issue shall be <br />$209000 of the 1-1-44 maturity, $14,000 of the 1-1-45 maturity and $10,000 of the 1-1-46 mat- <br />urity. <br />Section 3. That the Clerk of this Board shall send ,certified copies of this resolut- <br />ion to the following parties for the indicated purposes: <br />(A) To_Th_e_First Netional . &Ek of Chicago.
