1 <br />Ll <br />1 <br />575 <br />Cou#ty, Florida, of the issue of January 1, 1918. <br />Upon motion of .Mr. Vickers, seconded by Mr. Graves, and unanimously adopted, the pro <br />cedure as recommended by the Auditor and as above outlined was approved and the Clerk is hereb3 <br />instructed to transfer the bonds and coupons as above set out from the tax redemption account <br />to the respective investment accounts as above set out, and to issue checks as recommended and <br />deposit the.prodeeds thereof in the respective accounts of said Districts. <br />It was reported to the Board that in working out the foregoing transfer whereby cred- <br />its and debits were balanced between the Clerks tax redemption account and the interest and <br />sinking fund investment accounts of the County and Wabasso Bridge. District it was learned that <br />there was available for purchase from the Rittenoure Investment Company of $5000.00 principal <br />amount of Wabasso Bridge District six per cent bonds dated July 1, 1926, and due July 1, 1956 <br />and each of said bonds having attached interest coupon No. le, due July 19 1934 and subsequent <br />coupons, and which bonds as to principal and interest thereon to May 1,, 1942, aggregating a <br />total par value of $7500.00; that in consultation with the State Auditor it was determined that <br />it would be to the benefit of said District that such six per cent bonds above described be <br />purchased from funds of the Wabasso Bridge District in so far as the same will reach for such <br />purpose and then balance to be purchased by the County interest sinking fund investment account <br />Upon motion by Mr. Vickers, seconded by Mr. Graves, and unanimously adopted, it was <br />ordered that upon funds being available and if funds were available, for the purchase of the <br />above described obligations of Wabasso Bridge District on May 1, 1942s that such purchase be <br />made as above outlined and for the account of the respective funds above -stated at the price <br />of par plus acrued interest on the principal amount of such bonds to the date+of purchase. <br />wit: <br />RESOLUTION - REJECTING PROVISIONS OF BANNER ACT <br />AS TO SPECIAL ROAD AND BRIDGE DISTRICT NO. 1 <br />AND WABASSO BRIDGE DISTRICT. <br />z <br />Commissioner Graves introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption to - <br />y41MASS the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida has here - <br />tofore accepted the terms and provisions of Chapter 15891, Acts of 1933, known as the "Kanner <br />Bill" with respect to the following Special Road and Bridge Districts situated in Indian River <br />County, Florida., to -wit: <br />Special Road and Bridge District No. 1 <br />Wabasso Bridge District, and <br />WHEREAS, it is now the desire of said Board to revoke the previous acceptance of said <br />act with respect to said Districts; therefore, <br />Be it resolved that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida <br />acting for and on behalf of Special Road and Bridge District No. 1 and Wabasso Bridge District <br />in said County, do herewith reject the terms and provisions of Chapter 15891, Acts of 1933., <br />known as the "Kanner Bill" and which rejection on behalf of said Districts shall be effective <br />immediately upon the delivery of a certified copy of this resolution to the State Board of <br />Administration, and the receipt of such certified copy by such said State -Board of Administrat- <br />ion. <br />Be it further resolved that any resolution or resolutions, heretofore adopted by this+ <br />Board and certified to the State Board of Administration and which are in conflict with this <br />resolution be and the same are herewith rescinded or modified in respect to such conflicts. <br />Be it further resolved that the State Board of Administration is herewith authorized <br />and requested to transfer any and all -.funds in the Kanner Bill account of said respective dis- <br />tricts to the interest and sinking fund accounts of said respective districts. <br />The resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Vickers and upon being put to a vote <br />the same was unanimously adopted. <br />
