1 <br />1 <br />0 <br />1 <br />Cl <br />0 <br />7-1 <br />To ©over the amount of the estimated expenses for keeping the County Roads in good <br />I <br />shape and for the construction and repairing of bridges and other necessary expenses to keep °i <br />the roads of the County in good condition and provide other roads when necessary of $28,261.141 <br />it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of Two and tWo-fifths (2 2/5) mills upon <br />the dollar be levied, assessed and is hereby imposed upon all of the property lying and beingil <br />in the County of Indian River on the first day of' January, 1942, to meet the current expenses <br />of the County as estimated in the budget for the ROAD & BRIDGE FUND. <br />To meet the outstanding indebtedness and interest thereon aco ording, to the estimatesp, <br />or budget the sum of $5,129.66, it is determined and hereby deelared that a tax rate of Three- <br />fifths (3/5) mills upon the dollar be levied assessed and is hereby imposed upon all the N <br />/ P • s Y osed P P � <br />property in the County of Indian River on the first day of January, 1942, to inset the current <br />I <br />expenses as estimated in the budget, for the OUTSTANDING INDEBTEDNESS FOND. <br />Td provide a fund for the y mothers a <br />p payment to worth pension in order their child- jl <br />igen attend the public schools of the County, the sum of $29023.39, it is determined and hereby!, <br />declared :that a tax rate of one-fifth (1/5) mill upon the dollar be levied, assessed, and is <br />herebyimposed upon all of the <br />p p property lying and being in the County of Indian River on the <br />first day of January, 1942, to meet the current expenses of the County as estimated in the <br />budget for the MOTHER'S PENSION FOND. <br />To meet the interest payments and provide a sinking Hind for the ultimate redempt- <br />ion of County Court House bonds, in pursuance of the requirements of the law the sum of <br />0 <br />$59034.669 it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of Three-fifths (3/5) mills <br />�q upon the dollar be levied, assessed, and is hereby imposed upon all the property lying and <br />P <br />being in the County of Indian River on the first day of January, 1942, for INDIAN RIVER COUNTY! <br />COURT HOUSE BONDS SINKING FUND. <br />According to the millage so determined, fixed, assessed the total millage to be <br />entered in the column provided for County taxes in the assessment roll for the year 1942, is <br />Six (6) mills upon the dollar, to cover a total estimated expenditure of$ 81,060.06 <br />i <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED. that the Tax Assessor in and for Indian River County, <br />Florida be and he is hereby directed to assess and levy the foregoing taxes as fixed by this <br />Board upon the taxable property in Indian River County subject thereto, and that he extend <br />such taxes on the valuation of such property according to said millage as fixed, determined <br />and levied by this Board as provided by law; that a certified copy of this resolution be <br />furnished to the County Tax Assessor. <br />The motion for the adoption of the said resolution for the levy oftaxes was second- <br />. � <br />ed by Commissioner Glover and adopted by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Helseth, Graves, Vickers, Michael and Glover <br />Nays: None. <br />1 � <br />Commissioner-Helseth introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption, to- <br />!� wit: <br />MMREAS, the respective boards and taxing districts being authorized to fix and <br />levy taxes upon property situated within Indian River County, Florida, a0rovided by law, <br />fixed such tax levies and have certified the same to this Board and this Board having consid- <br />ered the same and having then found them to be proper, therefore be it resolved that; <br />'To meet the current expenses incidental and necessary to the operation of the Public <br />Schools the County, and to pay the salaries of teachers, bus drivers and repair school <br />houses and busses as estimated by the. County Board of Public Instruction, the sum of 173,802"In <br />it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of 3.5 rmills upon the dollar be levied, 1 <br />
