<br />The Board of County Commissioners of.Indian River County, Florida, met at the
<br />I' Court House in Vero Beach at 10:00 o'clock A. M. Tuesday, October 27, 19429 in special meet-
<br />ing with the following members of the Board present: Albert O. Helseth, Chairman Pro Tem;
<br />W, C. Graves, Jr. S. E. Glover and Frank 0. Vickers. Absent: C. S. Michael, Chairman. Also
<br />present were Charles A. Mitchell, Attorney to the Board, Vm. W. Frick, Sheriff and Douglas
<br />Baker, Cleric.
<br />Chairman Pro Tem Helseth advised this meeting was called for the purpose of oondid-►
<br />erinig a request from the 11. S. Coast Guard for permission, to erect barracks on property owned
<br />by the County on the peninsula, said land being on the north side of the Wabasso Bridge Road.
<br />Also present at this meeting were Mr. A. B. Michael of Wabasso and J. L. Gray,
<br />Boatswain, USCG, Ft,, Pierce, Fla, who explained the purpose for which the request in building
<br />maid barracks is being made.
<br />After discussion and consideration Commissioner w. C. Graves, Jr. introduced the
<br />following resolution and moved its adoption, to -wits
