<br />"To meet the interest payments and provide a sinking fund for the ultimate redemption
<br />of County Bonds, County Time Warrants, and the pro-rato debt assumed from St.Lucie
<br />County, in pursuance of the requirements of the law the sum of 054,921.40, it is deter-
<br />mined and hereby declared that a tax rate of Eleven & 7/8 (11-7/8) mills upon the dollar
<br />be levied, assessed and is hereby imposed upon all the property lying and being in the
<br />County of Indian River on the first day of January 1926.
<br />For the payment of pensions to widows,
<br />of the County, and who are worthy and needy
<br />whose children attend the public schools
<br />the sum of 01500.00
<br />of assistance,/it is determined and hereby
<br />declared that a tax rate of 1/8 of a mill upon the dollar be levied, assessed and is
<br />hereby imposed upon all the property in the County of Indian River on the first day of
<br />January 1926, to meet the 'current expenses as estimated in the budget for the MOTHERS
<br />PENSION FUND.
<br />In order to continue the County Fair, arrange displays at the South Florida Fair,
<br />and for general advertising of the County, the sum of $6080.00, it is determined and
<br />hereby declared that a tax rate of 1/2 mill upon the dollar be levied, assessed and is
<br />hereby imposed upon all the property in the County of Indian River on the first day of
<br />January 1926, to meet the current expenses estimated in the Budget from the PUBLICITY
<br />FUND..
<br />For the encouragement and protection of Agriculture as authorized under Chapter
<br />7302, .Acts of 1917, the sum of $4750.00, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax
<br />rate of one mill upon the dollar be levied, assessed, and is hereby imposed upon all the
<br />property mn. the County of Indian River, on the first day of January 1926, to meet the
<br />current expenses as estimated in the Budget, for the AGRICULTURAL FUND.
<br />To meet the current expenses incidental and necessary to the operation of the Publi
<br />Schools of the County, and to pay the salaries of teachers and repair school houses as
<br />estimated by the County Board of Public Instruction, the sum of 052,610.00, it is deter-
<br />mined and hereby declared that a tax rate of Ten (10) mills upon the dollar be levied,
<br />assessed, and is hereby imposed upon all the property in the County of Indian River, on
<br />the first day of January 1926.
<br />According to the millage so determined, fixed andassessed, the total millage to be
<br />entered in the column provided for County Taxes in the assessment roll for the year A.D.
<br />1926, is 43-1/2 mills upon the dollar, to cover a total estimated expenditure of
<br />0269,581.40.
<br />The Board then proceeded to fix the millage for Special Road and Bridge Districts
<br />under Section 1656 of Chapter 12, Revised General Statutes, of Florida, and it was deter-
<br />mined that a tax of Eighteen (18) mills on the dollar be levied and is hereby fixed and
<br />assessed for the year 1926, on all of the property in the County of Indian. River lying
<br />and being within the boundaries ''of the said Special Road 8c Bridge District No. 4 for the

<br />purpose of paying interest, retiring bonds and creating a sinking fund for the retire len
<br />of the bonded debt, which boundaries are as follows: Commencing at the Worth -west corner

<br />the Atlantic Ocean; thence run •South-easterly along the edge of the Atlantic ocean to
