M* Tuesday, May 4, 19439 in -regular meeting with the <br />following members of the Board present: W. C. Graves, Zr.,, Chairman; Albert 0, Helseth, S, E. <br />Glover, G. B. Barkoskie and Frank C.'Viokers. Also present were Charles A. Kitchell, Attorneys <br />�i <br />to the Board, Wk. W. Frick, Sheriff and Douglas Baker, Clerk. <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. <br />Pursuant to requests for bids on'Workman's Compensation Insurance and Public Lia- <br />bility and ]Property Damage Insurance on county trucks, the following bids were received <br />Name of Agent <br />Type of <br />Insurance <br />Amount <br />Joe S. Orlando (Surgical) <br />0n motion made by Commissioner Glover, seconded by <br />Commissioner <br />Barkoskie and <br />unanimously carried the Insurance was <br />awarded <br />to Joe <br />S, Barman, Agent, he <br />being the lowest <br />bidder. <br />16 <br />Others <br />4 <br />Bids were submitted on Workman's Compensation Insurance by the following agents; <br />Charles A. Buster, F. W. Rodenberg, doe S. Earma* and Buokingham-wheeler Agency. It was <br />stated the Florida Workman's Compensation Rating Bureau promulgates the rates for all .Work - <br />man's Compensation Insurance written in the State of Florida. In view of this fact, on <br />motion made by Commissioner Helseth, seconded by Commissioner Glover and unanimously carried <br />it was ordered the Workman's Compensation Insurance be renewed with the Kuster Insurance <br />.Agency, who had written this insurance for the past several years. <br />It was further ordered that Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance be <br />placed on the Motor Patrol and limits of liability be the same as on the trucks.. <br />a. Notary Public bond for John W. B. Vheeler, in the sum of $300.00 with. American <br />Several visits in regard to dental wont for two and whooping cough oases. <br />PRE SCHOOL CLINIC,' CLINIC BUILDING 4/29/43• Sponsored by Vero Beech P.T.A. <br />Number of children in attendance 17 accompanied by mothers. <br />Surety Company of INew ZCrk, as suretieS. was approved. <br />Deputy Sheriff bond for Henry F. Pippen in the sum of $1000.00 with Standard <br />Accident Insurance Company, of Detroit, Michigan as surety, <br />was approved. <br />Deputy Gheriff bond for Ben F. 'flood in the sum of $1000.40 with Standard-Acoidant. <br />Insurance Company of Detroit, Michigan as surety, was approved. <br />• <br />Miss Leila M.
