Clinic building r <br />Application of Frank Buckles, Sebastian (Har4ee*s Bar) for a license to sell in- <br />tozioating liquiors, Mines and beer was received and after carefully considering the same, on <br />motion made, seconded and . carried the she was approved. <br />Douglas Balser, Clerk was instructed to obtain information as to what insurance, if <br />any, • was provided . by they iud,ian River Citrus Bank on the oontentss . of securities and other <br />valuable papers under the jurisdiction of the Clerk and Board of County Commissioners and if <br />there be no insurance at.this time, that the Clerk be instructed to -obtain insurance as re- <br />quired under the recent acts of the 1943 Legislature. <br />Douglas Baker, Cleric, pounced to the Board that he . had,.-reoeiVed a warrant from Ron. <br />Z. Edwin Larson, State Treasurer, in the amount of $3,849.92 representing proceeds of sale of <br />securities owned in, part -.by lndien; River €county. The securities sold were City of Lake Worth <br />refunding bonds, series A, with a par value of $10,000. The originalof these bonds werepart <br />of the colateral furnished by Vero Beach Bank -and gust Company and taken over by the Board of <br />Administration. These original bands were exchanged for refunding bonds which bore interest <br />at the rate of two to five per cent. The fends secured by this collateral were owned 55% by <br />Indian River County Road and Bridge Bond Interest & Sinking Fund Account,, 1% by General Revenue <br />Fund, 10% by Road &, Bridge Maintenance Fund and 34% by -Speoial Road. and Bridge District #4 <br />Bond Fund (State Auditors report #1366'. The amount of $3849.92 was credited as follows.* <br />General Revenue Fund $ 85.56 <br />Road & Bridge Fund 855.54 <br />Special, Road & ,Bridge Dist.#4 <br />Maintenance Fund 20908.82 <br />See letter of dune 15v 1943 from Ron. d. Sr Government <br />Defense Bonds from Special Road & Bridge District #4 Maintenance Fundi Said bonds to be <br />P <br />purchased in the name of this fund© Vvo cvr�' <br />It was suggested by -:Cleric Baker: that a ventilating fan be purchased for the Court <br />room. On recommendation of the Board.this matter wase referred to E. E. Carter, County Engineer <br />for investigation and report back to the Board for further consideration. <br />On motion made by Frank C..Vickers, seconded by Albert 0. Hel.seth and carried the <br />Vera Beaoh Dress Journal, published at Vero Beach, Florida, was designated as the paper in which <br />the Laws of the Regular Session of Legidl.ature are to be published, also to publish list of <br />dsliuqueut lands, delinquent tangible and intangible Personal property tax lists and all anther <br />legal publications and advertiomesats. This being done in compliance with Section. 26 of Chapter <br />20723 and Section 20 of Chapter 20724. <br />Douglas Baker, Clerk, was►, i.nstruoted to advise U. S. Gover=ent authorities in dack- <br />sonville that the Board of County Commissioners have no objection to the Treustees of the In- <br />ternal Inprcrvenent Fund entering intoan agreement vsd,th the U.
