r 62 <br />for the ultimate redemption of bonds, notes, or other obligations outstanding, and to pay in- <br />terest thereon, when due, and for general repairs and additional work to be done, and a cer- <br />tified copy of the resolution filed with this Board, as required by law, and as hereby.deelare&i <br />that a tax rate of One and eleven -twentieth mills upon the dollar be levied, and is hereby fix <br />ed and assessed, for the year 1943, on all of the property in the County of Indian River, lying <br />and being in the boundaries of said Sebastian Inlet District, Four-fifths mill -of which shall !j <br />be used solely for interest payments, when due, and to create a sinking fund for the ultimate <br />redemption of Refunding Bonds of said District dated Zuly 1st, 1936 and three-fourths (3/4) <br />mills of which levy shall be used as a maintenance fund and for the purposes authorized and <br />prescribed in the act creating said district namely Section 15 of Chapter 7976 of the Laws of <br />Florida as amended by Chapter 12259 of the Laws of Florida. <br />To provide Treasury funds for the QUAY BRIDGE DISTRICT in accordance with the laws of, <br />Florida, as amended by the Acts of the 1927 Legislature, it was determined that a tax rate of <br />one-half (J) mill upon the dollar be levied and is hereby fixed and assessed for the year 1943, <br />on all of the property in the County of Indian River, lying and being within the boundaries of <br />said Quay Bridge District for the purpose of properly,,operating the bridge in said District an& <br />the reasonable and usual repairs and maintenance of said Bridge and the approaches thereto the <br />total sum estimated in the budget being $3,261.42. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Tax Assessor of Indian River County, Florida, be and; <br />he is hereby directed to assess and levy all the foregoing taxes as fixed and levied by this <br />Board upon the taxable property in Indian River County, Florida, just and due taxation within <br />the respective boundaries upon which such taxes are lsvied;,that a certified copy of this re- <br />solution be furnished to the County Assessor of Taxes. <br />t <br />The motion for adoption was duly seconded by Commissioner Vickers, and adopted by <br />the following vote: <br />Ayes: Graves, Helseth, Glover., Vickers and Barkoskie. <br />Nays: None. <br />It was ordered that Stone Brothers, Undertakers and Embalmers, be paid the sum of <br />0 <br />$25.00 for the burial of County Paupers in lieu of the som of $20,00. <br />retained <br />The Board then proceeded to approve the;/commissions due the assessor of taxes, W. <br />R. Duncan, from the various and several special taxing districts within the County, for com- <br />missions due for assessing the taxes and preparing the tax roll for the year 1942 as indicated <br />on statement submitted by Mr. Duncan, and the following statements having been audited, on <br />motion made by Albert 0. Relseth, eeconded by S. E.
