Thursday July 5, 1944, in regular adjourned meeting With the fob.- <br />�lowing members of the Board present: W. C..Graves,.Jr. Chairman: Albert 0._Halseth, G. E. Bar- <br />. h <br />koskie, Frank C. Vickers and S. Z. Glover. Also present were "gym. W. -Frick, Sheriff, Charles A. �j <br />Mitchell, Attorney for the .Board, Douglas Baker,.Clerk.and-Z. F. Carter, County Engineer. <br />r <br />q; Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. <br />On Motion made by Frank C. Vickers, seconded by Albert 0. Helseth and unanimously carriedM <br />it was ordered that the salary of -S, E.,Carter.,County Engineer,, Charles A. Mi.tahell Attorney <br />°for the Board and Douglas Baker, Clerk, be increased x;25.00 per month, effective April 12 1944. <br />It was ordered that Lula }Seal, Sebastian, be paid the sum of $10.00 per month in lieu of "l, <br />45.50 until the further order of the Board. <br />Mr. 'barren T. Zeuoh appeared before the Board in.behalf of the -Child Welfare Program of <br />"!lndian River County and requested an additional $25.00 per month for this program. The Board <br />advised that consideration would be given regarding the request and, if possible, would be in- <br />rcluded in the Budget for 1944 m 1.9450 beginning October lat. next. <br />Douglas Baker, Clerk, was instructed to write Doctor 'Hansen of the Florida State Board of <br />!Health requesting one of his Doctors to meet with this.
