In addition he was a director for the county of all a <br />-cultural exhibits and Fairs of the county and through his efforts great honor was brought to <br />the county. He rendered all of his public service with marked ability and with great benefit <br />to the county and its citizens. He gave unsparingly of his time and ability in the promotion <br />of all worthwhile aetivities',in the county and contributed materially to the progress and devel- <br />opment of the entire area of which Indian River County is a part; therefore, <br />BE IT;RE8OLV3D that.the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, <br />does herewith express deep regret upon.,the 'passing of Mr. Tippin and extends sincere sympathy <br />to the members of his family. <br />BE IT FUR'.i'HER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread upon the Minutes of this Board; <br />that the Clerk of this Board forward a copy of it to the members of Mr. Tippin's family; and <br />that a copy hereof be delivered to the Vero Beach Press Journal. <br />Douglas Baker, Clerk, reported the sum of $460.50 as having been collected and deposit- <br />�Ied in the General Revenue Fund, said amount representing Court Costs in connection with the <br />,' purchase or redemption of lands included in the County foreclosure suit. He also reported the <br />'o <br />sum of $42.24 as having been received and deposited in the General Revenue Fund from the Fells -'!I <br />Iimere Sugar Company in the case of Sphrain Ward. <br />a <br />Notary Public Bond for Josephine Martindale in the sum of $500.00 with the Massachu- <br />1'�setts Bonding and Insurance Company of Boston Massachusetts as Surities, was approved by <br />0 <br />Douglas Baker, Clerk. <br />On Motion made by Commissioner Helseth, seconded by Commissioners Vimkers, it was or- <br />dered the County pay the sum of $40.00 as burial expenses for each county case.
