, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6th 1926 <br />The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at <br />the Court House at Vero Beach, on Tuesday, September 6th, 1926 at 10 o'clock A.M.with <br />the following members of the Board present: John H.Atkin, Chairman; G.&.Braddock; J. t'. <br />LaBruce; Donald Forbes and 0.0.Helseth. Also present were Miles Warren, Clerk and <br />T .B .Davis , Deputy Sheriff. <br />The Minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved. <br />It was ordered that the County Engineer and Commissioner Forbes work out the best <br />plan to properly drain the Quay Bridge Road eo as to protect tbe farts on eaoh side of <br />the road. <br />It was ordered that the County Attorney and the County Engineer prepare contract <br />with the Florida Road Oiling Company to put the top coat on roads in :special R & B <br />District No. 4. <br />On motion made, seconded and carried it was ordered that County build fence on <br />the property of Ralph E Smith which -property is described as South half of North half <br />of North half of North-west quarter Section 30 Tp 33 L.R.40 E. on both sides of the <br />road right-of-way in consideration of which said Smith is to ii execute and give deed <br />for <br />to r ht-of-way/road over and across the above described property for State Road No.4. <br />The several bills against tbe County zema having been audited, were examined and <br />found correct and warrants issued in settlement of same. Said bills and accounts be=ing <br />on file in the Clerk's office and made a part of these minutes. <br />The County Depositories filed their monthly statements showing balance on hand, <br />receipts, warrants paid and balance on hand at the close of august, which were found <br />to be correct. <br />On motion duly made, seconded and carried the Board then adjourned. <br />ATTEST: <br />C 1 e r <br />Chairman <br />
