<br />R. 39 E. do respectfully petition your Honorable body to locate and construct a servioable
<br />oounty road beginning at the paved road near the Chesser residence in Wabasso and extending
<br />northerly on or along the sand ridge for a distance of approximately two miles. We the under-
<br />signed agree to grant and assist in the procurement of such rights of way required on any reaur

<br />With regard to the foregoing road petition, the Board appointed as a oommittee E. B.
<br />Carter, County Engineer, F. C. Viokers and R. Graves, for the purpose of selecting a deft-
<br />nits looation as to the proposed road right of way, said committee to report bask to the Board
<br />as to their findings.
<br />Charles . . Mitchell, Attorney, speaking in behalf of the City of Fero Beach, stated'
<br />that the City was interested in acquiring or having dedicated to them lots 2, 3, 4 and 5, Dlook'
<br />2, Edgewood Addition. Said lots are in the present county foreclosure suit on which final
<br />degree is to be obtain in the near future. It was agreed by the Board, et the proper tido.
<br />that they be dedicated to the oity of Vero Beaoh with the proper reversion clause.
<br />On motion made by Frank C. Vickers, seconded by S. E. Glover and carried, the Board
<br />agreed to raise their bid to the sum of. #2,500.00 for the purchase of the U. S. Coastguard
<br />s
<br />barraoks at Wabasso.
<br />When as and if the foregoing property is purchased by the oounty and if the said pro-
<br />perty should be leased, the Board is of the unanimous opinion that a clause should be inaorpor71
<br />sted in said lease to the effect that no alaoholio beverages could be sold, dispensed or oon-
<br />suited on said premises. The motion was offered by R. W. Graves, seconded by F. C. Viokers and
<br />unanimously Carrie d.
<br />Mr. Floyd E. Snow, 907, Congress Building, Miami, through discussing with Attorney
<br />Charles A. Mitchell, suggested that the Board of County Commissioners of this County officially
<br />comnuzntoate with Mr. Herman Gunter, State Geologist, and request that the state make a survey
<br />in Indian River County as to deposits of heavy gravity mineral end that the development of the
