Effective April 0. 2OO4. the County and the Consultant entered into the Continuing Contract <br /> Agreement for Professional Services /"Aonaemnent"l <br /> B. The County and the Consultant desire boamend the Agreement bvadding anew paragraph <br /> 4.3, in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement, as set forth in this First Amendment. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, for good and valuable conoidenabon, the receipt and sufficiency of <br /> which is Uanwby acknowledged, the parties hereto, intending to be legally bound, covenant and <br /> agree boamend the Agreement asfollows: <br /> (1) The Background Recitals are true and correct and fVnn a rnabaho1 pad of this First <br /> Amendment; <br /> (2) From and after the effective date of this First Amendment, paragraph 4.3 is added to the <br /> Agreement nofollows: <br /> 4.3 Pursuant tothe terms of this Agreement, the County hereby extends the Initial � <br /> Term of this Agreement for n nnaxinnunM term of three /3\ years ("Extension Tarrn^). <br /> The Extension Term ahmU commence as of Aoh| 7. 2007. subject to a sooner <br /> termination in accordance with the terms of this AgneemneDt, and shall end on April <br /> G. 2810.
