M. Tuesday, Xanuary 79 1947, in regular meeting with the fol- <br />lowing members of the Board presents W. C. Graves, Jr., Chairman; Frank C. -Vickers, R. W. <br />Graves, S. E. Glover, and Albert 0. Helseth. Also present were Charles A. Mitchell, Attrrney; <br />L. E. Cartek*::County Engineer; L. B. O'Steen, Sheriff; and Douglas Baker, Clerk. <br />Charles A. Mitchell, Attorney, called the meeting to order. <br />All officials present stated they had received their commissions evidencing the fact <br />that they were duly elected, qualified officials of Indian River County. <br />There being no old business to be considered at this time, the -Board then proceeded <br />in the order of new business. <br />On motion made by Commissioner Glover, seconded by 0ommissioner Vickers and unanimously <br />!carried, W. C. Graves, Jr. was elected as chairman to serve for the ensuing year. Chdrman <br />iGraves then took over theichair, and on motion made by Commissioner R. W. Graves, se;wnded by <br />Commissioner Glover and unanimously carried, Albert 0. Helseth was selected to serve ant chair- <br />man pro -tem for the ensuing year. <br />On motion made by Commissioner Vickers, seconded by Commissioner R. W. Graves and <br />unanimously carried, all'County employees were re-employed for the ensuing yeas, salaries re- <br />maining the same with the exception of the Winter Beach.Bridge tender whose application was to <br />be further considered prior to final action. <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. <br />Notary Public Bond for 0, O. Summer in the sum of $500.00 with Massachusetts Bonding <br />and Insurance Company as surety was approved January 29 19479 by Douglas Bakety Clerk Circuit <br />Court as provided by law. <br />Mr. and Mrs. V. L.
