9. <br />Amendment No. 1 — FDEP Grant Agreement No. 14IR2 Sector 3 <br />Dune Repair Project <br />(memorandum dated September 29, 2014) <br />Approved Amendment No. 1 to the Florida Department of <br />Environmental Protection (FDEP) Grant Agreement No. 141R2 <br />and authorized the Chairman to execute two (2) copies of the <br />Agreement. <br />CONSTITUTIONAL OFFICERS and GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES <br />9:35 a.m. A. <br />10. <br />1:33 p.m. <br />Indian River County Sheriff — Deryl Loar <br />Application for Florida Traffic Safety Grant Funded by Florida <br />Department of Transportation <br />(letter dated September 29, 2014) <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Flescher, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Solari, to approve the Sheriff's <br />request. <br />Grants Coordinator Amber Grier, Indian River County <br />Sheriff's Office, explained that the grant will provide funds to <br />equip 65% of the patrol vehicles with new ticket printers, and <br />will also prepare the Sheriff's Office to submit traffic citations <br />electronically. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the Motion <br />carried unanimously. The Board authorized the Sheriff's Office <br />to use the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) <br />Florida Traffic Safety Grant funds in the total amount of <br />$77,745, if approved by FDOT. <br />PUBLIC ITEMS <br />A.
