Cox, Co -Chairs of the Diversion Strategies Task Group, <br />Mental Health Collaborative, gave a PowerPoint Presentation (copy on <br />file), regarding the Mental Health Collaborative's request to institute a <br />Mental Health (MH) Court in Indian River County. They discussed how <br />MH Court will address the needs of mentally ill persons who are <br />homeless or incarcerated; reduce the jail population; and enhance public <br />safety.
