Crosby, Fellsmere Sugar Company, Honorable Alex MacWilliam, County Representative; <br />;and the State Road Department requesting they or their representative attend a special <br />imeeting of this Board tenatively called January 17t with the understanding that this date <br />!be changed if necessary for the convenience of those who might not be able to attend on January <br />galled and <br />17; said meeting to bhe].d for the purpose of trying to determine and arrive at a satisfactory • <br />`conclusion as to the road rights-of-way in question. <br />County Nurse, Alice Helleso$ appeared before the Board and made a report of her actio - <br />4;" -Sties for the month of December; said report was ordered filed with the Clerk and made a part <br />of these minutes. <br />It was ordered Mrs. Agnes Qlaz be paid the sum of $24.00 representing incidental <br />!expenses for the care of Mrs. thus Samuelson. <br />Sheriff L. B. O'Steen reported as to the condition of the jail citing the dire needs <br />ifor a larger jail or an addition to the present one. Attorney Mitchell was requested by the <br />;Board to obtain all available information as to plans, costs, etc, for an Aiddition to the pre-, <br />meat jail. <br />, a <br />It was ordered a check in the sum of $70.00 be issued -to the Radinsky nursing Home, <br />,Roseland, Florida for the chre of Rose Pohorosky which would pay for services rendered to <br />;January 7, 1947; further, that a warrant be issued on the Gener€l Revenue Fund in the sum of <br />• dad er we <br />'$1+0.00 each moath"t1maaA ed$ �5o �as$y WsIng Home, Roseland, Florida, for the care of <br />Hose Pohorosky until the further orderd of the Board. <br />Troy R. Moody, Tax Collector, appeared before the Beard with regard to the purchase <br />16f a cash book for the Tax Collector's office, stating thatt it would cost approximately <br />. <br />$132.00. The Board instructed Mr. Boody to obtain prices for several! -bids for such a book <br />;and purchase it from the company offering the lowest bid. <br />Mr. A. L. O'Neal, P. 0. Box 182,-Wabasso, Florida, submitted the following bid as <br />Bridge Tender for the Winter Beach bridge. <br />Jan. 7, 1947 Wabasso, Fla. <br />P. 0. Bos 182 <br />A. L® O'Neal. <br />In bid on Winter Beach Bridge for 191+7 for five hundred dollars per year. <br />A. L. 0°Neal <br />R. 0. Box 182 <br />abasso$ Fla. <br />Cdr. W. H. Walker appeared before the Board and offered his services as btidge tender <br />mf the Winter Beach bridge for the ensuing year for the sum of $500.00. <br />Upon motion made, seconded, and unanimously carried, Mr. N. H`._�Walker was re-employed <br />as Winter Beach bridge tender for the sum of $500.00 for the ensuing year. <br />
