To meet the interest payments and provide a sinking fund for the ultimate redemption
<br />of bonds and Time Warrants of SPECIAL TAX -SCHOOL DISTRICT N0., lly and in pursuance of the re-
<br />quirements of law, and as estimated by the County Board of Public Instruction, it is determined
<br />and hereby declared that a tax rate of Three (3) mills upon the dollar, be levied, and is here -I
<br />by fixed and assessed for the year 1947, on all of the property in the County of Indian River
<br />lying and being within the boundaries of Special Tax School District No. 11, the boundaries of
<br />which said District being described above in these minutes. One and three-fourths (1 3/4)
<br />mills to be us.ed for the paying of interest and providing a sinking fund for refunding bonds
<br />of said District dated the first day of December, 1936, designated as 11-A and one and one-
<br />fourth (1 1/4) mills for the purpose of paying interest upon, and providing a sinking fund for �.
<br />bonds of said district dated December 1, 1940, designated as 11-B, E
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Tag Assessor of Indian River County, Florada, be

<br />and ho is hereby directed to assess and levy all the foregoing taxes as fixed and levied by j
<br />this Board upon the taxable property in Indian River County, Florida, just ad due taxation
<br />within the respective boundaries upon which such taxes are levied; that a certified copy of
<br />this resolution be furnished t6 the Coumty Assessor of Taxes. 91
<br />The motion for adoption was duly seconded by Commissioner Glover, and unanimously
<br />adopted.
<br />The Board then proceeded with the matter of fixing the rate of taxation for Indian
<br />River bounty for the year 1947 and after careful consideration of the estimated receipt and ex-
<br />penditures the following resolution was introduced by Commissioner Albert 0. Helseth,,tho moved,
<br />its adoption, to=wit:
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 2rate of Taxation necessary to meet the expenditures
<br />of the Board of County Commissioners of Indlan River County, Florida, for the fiscal year 1947-
<br />1948 pursuant to the budget of said Board as heretofore published, amended and approved, is as l

<br />hereinafter levied and that the tax rate as hereinafter shown and set forth, be and it is here-
<br />by levied on all taxable property in Indian River `ounty, Florida, for the*,year 1947, with the

<br />rate hereinafter set out, to -wit:
<br />In order to meet the estimated current expenses of the County of Indian River of the
<br />sum of $61,385.52, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of two (21) tills upon
<br />the dollar be levied and is hereby imposed upon all of the property lying and being in the
<br />County of Indian River on the first day of January 19479 for the GENERAL REVENUE FUND, to meet
<br />the current expenses of the County and to provide for the a xpendttures as estimated in the
<br />budget hereinbefore set forth.
<br />To cover the amount of the estimated expenses for keeping the County Roads in good
<br />shape and for the construction and repairing of bridges and other necessary expenses to keep
<br />the roads of the County in good condition and provide other roads when necessary of$76,918.26,
<br />it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of four and six -tenths (4.6) mills upon
<br />the dollar�be levied,,assessed and is hereby imposed upon all of the property 1y ug and being
<br />in the County of Indian River on the first day of January, 194!, to meet the current expenses
<br />of the County as estimated in the budget for the ROAD & BRIDGE FUND.
<br />According to the millabe so determined, fixed, assessed the total millage to be en-
<br />tered in the column provided for the Bounty taxes in the assessment roll for the year 19479
<br />is Sixea,nd-ndi.x-tenths (64.6) mills upon the dollar, to cover a total estimated expenditure of

<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Tax Assessor in and for Indian River-County,Florida,
<br />be and hs -is hereby directed to assess and levy the foregoing taxes as fixed by this Board
