'The:.motion:>�foi?=, the:.adoption of the Resolution was made by Commissioner Vickers and unanimously carried. to Douglas Baker, Clerk, advised the Board that several of the County Funds would per- haps have a surplus which could be invested in Government bonds should the Board so desire. r The Board appointed a Committee consisting of Douglas Baker, Clerk, and Charles A. Mitchell, Attorney, and suggested they confer with Mr. Ralph Sedgwick of the First Federja Savings and i Loan Association in order to determine the best and proper type of Government bonds in which Ito invest said surplus funds. It was ordered the sum of $12.00 per month paid to Maybell+e Corbett be discontinued i by reason of the fact that she is now receiving stgte aid. County Road and Bridge Superintendent, E. B. Carter, called the Board's attention to .the fact that a number of the road and bridge employees would need funds for the Christmas holidays, and suggested the ABoard a+ vance each employee the sum of $25.+08 with the understanding that same would be deducted from the December pay -roll.
