X., Friday, April 9, 1948, in special meeting with the <br />following members of the Board presents W. C. Graves, Jr., Chairman; S. Be, Glover, and <br />Albert A. Helsetho Absents Frank C. Vickers and J. L. Helpling. Also present were Charles <br />A. Ritchella Attorney, and Douglas Bakers Clerk. <br />Chairman Graves announced this meeting was called for the purpose of considering <br />applications for beverages licenses, and such other business as might be.properly brought <br />before this Board. <br />Application for transfer of beverage license No. 20 from L. M., Wednesday, April 14, 1948'.in special meeting with the <br />Ifollowing members of the Board present: W. C. Graves, Jr., Chairman; Albert 0. Helseth, <br />S. E. Glover, J. L. Helpling, and Frank C. Vickers. Also present were Charles A. Mitchell, <br />Attorney, and Douglas Baker9 Clerk. <br />Chairman Graves announced this meeting was called for the purpose of determining <br />whether or not the name of R L 'Fendley, a candidate of nomtootIon in the Democratic primary <br />I!In 1948 for the office of County Commissioner from District'Nd. 29 Indian. River County, Florida,. <br />j'i should' appear on the official primary election ballot for the treason he failed to file the <br />statement required to be filed by him under the provisions of Section 102.57. <br />Thi following�actioa of this Board is also recited in the County Commissioners' <br />Minutes under date of April 6, "1:948, vd th regard to the peparng of the ballot for the <br />several precincts within the County. <br />It was ordered that the name of R. L. Fendley, candidate for nomination by the <br />Democratic party for member of the Board of County Sommissioners, District leo. 2, be omitted <br />from the official Democratic election ballot for the reason that he did not file in the office <br />of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Indian River County a detailed itemized statement of his <br />'campaign expenses in the period of not more than 30 days nor less than 25 days prior to the <br />first primary elections and as required by Section 102.579 Florida Statutes* <br />The Clerk of the Circuit Court has required by Section 102.64 of the Florida <br />Statutes file certificate with regard to R. L.
