<br />BE IT rURTHER RESOLVED, that the Tax Assessor in and for Indian River County, Fiorida,
<br />be and he is hereby, directed to assess and levy the foregoing taxes as fixed by thi�Board
<br />upon taxable property in Indian River County subject thereto, and that he.extend such taxes
<br />on the valuation of such property according to said millage as,fixed and determined and bvied
<br />by this Board as provided by law; that a certified copy,of this Resolution be furnished to
<br />the County Tax Assessor.
<br />The motion for the adoption of the said Resolution for the levy, of taxes was
<br />seconded by Commissioner J. L. Relpling and unanimously adopted.
<br />Commissioner Albert O. Helseth introduced the following Resolution and moved its
<br />adoption to-wit:
<br />WFM, EAS the respective boards and taxing districts being authorized to fix and levy
<br />taxes upon property situated within Indian River County! Florida, as provided by law, fixed
<br />such taxAevies and have certified the same to this Board and this Board having considered the
<br />same and having then found them to be proper, therefore be it resolved'that;
<br />To meet the current expenses incidental and necessary to the operation of the Public
<br />Schools of the County, and to pay the salaries of teachers, bus drivers and repair school
<br />houses and busses as estimated by the County Board of Public Instruction, the sum of
<br />S?739535.99, 3t-is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of 4.5 mills upon the dollar

<br />be levied9 assessed and is hereby imposed upon all the property in the 8otnty, ur Indian River
<br />on the first day of January, 1948.

<br />and the Trustees having certified the rate of millage voted to be,assessed it was determined
<br />that a tax rate of five (5) mills upon the dollar be levied, and is hereby fixed and assessed
<br />for the year 1948, on all of the property taxable for such purposes as provided by law in the
<br />County of Indian River lying and being within the boundaries of-the said District No. 19 which
<br />boundaries are as follows, to-grit: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Sec. 3, Tp. 31 s.,
<br />Range 39-19., then run west along County line to N.. W. corner of Tp. 31 S., Range 38 E., thence
<br />South along Range line to S. W. Corner of Sec. 18, Tp. 31 S., Range 38 E., thence East along
<br />Section line to Atlantic Ocean! thence North along Ocean beach to starting point.
