IM 1,12 A C issioner 1,elpUng -introduced the following Resolution and maed its adoption ,as followsq - tai -wits WB MW,, the .State Treasurer of.- the Mate of Florida holds certain bonds' interest coupons w other obligations of Indian .River County' Florida' and of -taxing districts within isaid county received in the redemption of property within such county frau tax sales or unpaid taxes and as -the same are., specifically described on Mbit 1 hereto att41ched and forming a wI part hereof and which -were received . pursuant to Chapter 16482 of the` Lags of Florida' Acts of 11931- or Chapter 174819 Laws of Floriftj Acts of 1935; and! . AS' said Chapter 17481 at Section 3 thereof provides that all such bonds' coupons and obligations received pursuant to it are cancelled, null and void and Chaptof 23341 of the haws of:orida, Acts of 19459 authorized the Klerk of the Circult Court of Indian River County, 1 ancon approval of the Board of County Bommipsioners of said county0 to cancel said bonds' couponi. or obligations received in the redemption of taxes or tai certificates and which includes arW such obligations received pursuant to said Chapter 16482' Acts of 1933, and speeifically-pro-.a r vides that such right of cancellation shall apply.tc any such obligations received 'held by `the State Treasurer of the State of Florida; and' RBESE®S' it has been determined by this Board that the securities held by the State 'Treasurer and described upon Exhibit 1 hereto attached were accepted solely in redemption or 'payment -of taxes imposed for application to such . securities so accepted or that there° been !an adjustment of accounts by the several taxing units interested in said swurl- ties and with the rs3ul.ts so far as may be determined from the public records and made known to this Board, that each unit interested in said securities has received the Mane tax benefit as though said lsecurities had.been paid and the proceeds thereof -distributed in the -proportion that each of 's.aid units had an interest thereint as fixed by Section 3, of said Chapter 164821 ands i IV EAS' the State Board of Administration and -the State Auditing Departments desirl that said bonds, Interest coupons and obligations be duly cancelled; therefore' BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County' Florida' that the Clerk. of the Circuit Court of Indian River County'.Floridat /;"U hereby authorized to cancel all the bonds' interest coupons and evidences of indebtedness obligations described upon Exhibit 1 hereof and as now held by the State Treasurer of the State Ijf.Florida; that he.is authorized to effect such cancellation as to any or all of said boards and evidences.of Indebtedness by causing the some to be cancelled by the State Treasurer of the !Gtate- ,nf aFlorida9 andp ,by the State Treasurer of the State of Florida thereupon certifying such iibeellation to the Clark of the Circuit Court of Indian River Countyq Florida' and thereupon Asaid` Clerk shall spread the report and certificate of such _cancellation upon the minutes of this Ooard; that the State Treasurer shall thereupon be authorized ams requested to deliver,said 6ancelled bonds interest coupons or evidences of indebtedness to the Board or Commission ;resently.having the responsibility of making payment thereof and which means that all of said Mems described on Exhibit 1 hereof' after cancellation# shall be delivered to the State Board f Administration of the State of Florida excepting only said Se'hastian Wet District Mond escribed therein and which bond' -after cancellations shall be forwarded to Charles. -W,# Sembler' treasurer'.
