0 <br />0 <br />4?9 <br />After considerable .discussion the Board recommended that problems be worked out at <br />the present location and suggested the labor board set up a per diem charge in order to build, <br />up a reserve to meet future costs and expenditures of the labor camp. <br />Mr. Boudet, County agent, also submitted a report of his activities for -the month of <br />October. Said report was ordered filed with the Clerk. <br />IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF THE NIM <br />JUDICIAL CIRCUIT IN AM FOR INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, STATE OF FLORIDA <br />it ORDER <br />It appearing to the Court that it is necessary that the Board or County Commissioners;a <br />of Indian River County, Florida, prepare an additional jury list for said County to avoid the <br />names last selected by the said Boardiof County Commissioners becoming exhausted; and it <br />appearing that the -said Court is now in session in said County and there are before tie Court <br />for trial numerous civil and criminal cases requiring juries and that the number of names re- <br />maining in the jury box is not sufficient to provide juries for the trial of said cases, <br />IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED: That the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, be, and they are hereby,ordered and required to convene'as soon as is <br />ii practicable and personally select and make out a list of,not-less than one -hundred -fifty nor <br />more than two -hundred persons properly qualified to serve as,jurors, who, in additiai to -the <br />qualifications otherwise provided by law, shall -be : only such persons as the said County Com- <br />missioners know, or have good reason to believe, are law-abiding citizens of approved integritX <br />good character,- sound judgment and intelligence, and who are not physically or mentally infirm, <br />which list shall ' be signed and verified by the said commissioners as having been personally <br />selected, as aforesaid, and as possessing the prescribed qualifications, according etotheir <br />best information -and belief.
