SECTION 00100 - Advertisement for Bids <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />1801 27th Street <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960 <br />Telephone: (772) 567-8000 FAX: (772) 770-5140 <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />Sealed bids will be received by Indian River County until 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 3, <br />2015. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the name and address <br />of the bidder on the outside and the words "45th STREET CANAL ENCLOSURE AT 43rd <br />AVENUE and Bid No.2015011". Bids should be addressed to Purchasing Division, 1800 27th <br />Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960. All bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. <br />All bids received after 2:00 P.M., on the day specified above, will not be opened or considered. <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. 1427 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. 2015011 <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION; Project shall consist of the construction of approximately 260 <br />linear feet of 54" reinforced concrete pipe and catch basins to enclose the existing <br />Indian River Farms Water Control District Sub -Lateral `H-3' canal. Included with this <br />project will be the installation of underdrain, sand cement endwall, swale grading and <br />placement of sod. <br />All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance <br />with the plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto. Copies of the <br />documents are available at: www.demandstar.com or by contacting the Purchasing Division at <br />(772) 226-1416 or purchasinq@ircgov.com. All other communications concerning this bid shall <br />be directed to RC Purchasing Division at purchasinqircqov.com. <br />All bidders shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the Bid Proposal forms provided <br />within the specifications. Please note that the questionnaire must be filled out completely <br />including the financial statement. BID SECURITY must accompany each Bid, and must be in <br />the form of an AIA Document A310 Bid Bond, properly executed by the Bidder and by a <br />qualified surety, or a certified check or a cashier's check, drawn on any bank authorized to do <br />business in the State of Florida. Bid Security must be in the sum of not less than Five Percent <br />(5%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners.
